A man came in recently as a new patient self-conscious of his smile. After a bad experience with a previous dentist, he had been nervous about seeking dental care again and was putting it off. At CHCR we took the time to listen to his concerns and find the right course of treatment to bring back his smile. We placed a new crown and bridge for his front teeth, and provided gum treatments to control his gum disease. By building a positive relationship we were able to restore our patient’s trust in dentistry and give him back his smile. Now when he comes back for his cleanings we notice how much his spirit and self-confidence have improved. We love showing our patients that going to the dentist doesn’t have to be a bad experience. And when we help form good habits we can create a happier and healthier community.
